CSfC Makes Calls for the Safe Communities Act!

Join us as we make calls to help connect Progressive Massachusetts members to their elected state officials so they can tell them to support bringing the Safe Communities Act to a vote.

The Safe Communities Act:

  • Ensures due process rights and constitutional principles are upheld equally for citizens and non-citizens.
  • Focuses resources on local needs, not deportation, by ensuring that state, local and campus police don’t participate in immigration enforcement activities
  • Bars state support for any Muslim registry
  • Strengthens our communities by sending a strong message that in our communities, we value all residents, regardless of where they were born

Let's help get this bill signed into law!

Bring With You:

A laptop or tablet and a cell phone, chargers, and headphones if you prefer.

Location information:

The phone bank will be held on the second floor at 625 Massachusetts Ave, Cambridge, Massachusetts. The floor is accessible via elevator. Please email info@cambridgesomervilleforchange.com if you require any additional accommodations to participate.

We are grateful to Activist Afternoons for hosting Sunday phone banks at WeWork Cambridge.
