UPDATE! Jason Lewis wins the Primary; election is April 1!

Progressive Massachusetts members have voted overwhelmingly to endorse Jason Lewis in this race. A bold progressive with a strong commitment to the environment and economic justice, Representative Lewis’s endorsement questionnaire illustrates his commitment to being a leader on progressive policy, pushing the boundaries of what we can achieve in the legislature to make a more progressive Massachusetts.

This year, the Massachusetts Senate has approved some great legislation-- including ground-breaking election reforms and a vigorous minimum wage increase package. With organized grassroots pressure and growing ranks of Senators emboldened to make real change, the Senate is clearly experiencing progressive momentum.

We must build on and continue that momentum by electing another strong progressive -- electing Jason Lewis to State Senate.

Our activists in Malden, Melrose, and Medford organized an impressive grassroots campaign, contributing to Jason Lewis winning his primary by 7% on March 4! Now, it is All Hands on Deck until the April 1 general election.

Unlike Representative Lewis, Alderwoman Medeiros ran unopposed in the Republican primary. But Jason Lewis is only gaining momentum by winning this first race for the State Senate seat.
