Shared Prosperity Agenda Jobs Petition

This summer, we're highlighting features of our Shared Prosperity Agenda. Our members are sharing their perspectives on Education, Healthcare, Housing, Jobs and Wages, and Progressive Revenue. In our fourth installment, we focus on Jobs and Transportation.

Dear Legislator,

We, the undersigned residents of Massachusetts know that a strong economy and an abundance of good paying jobs are the cornerstone of a successful community.  When people work, families are more stable, neighborhoods are safer, and citizenship is stronger.  The goal of having a thriving economy is improved by active investment in mass transit to move people from where they live to where they work, safely, efficiently, cost effectively.

We urge you to support jobs that pay a living wage with earned time off, and are close to safe and affordable transportation.
