We believe that fighting for and winning a progressive agenda requires working in coalition with groups across the Commonwealth. We all do better when we all do better: that’s not just true for policy; it’s also true for the advocacy to achieve them. No one group or person can win game-changing victories alone.

• Purpose: To create a better system of assessment, support, accountability, and improvement that considers the whole child, and focuses on giving students and educators the tools and resources they need to succeed and thrive, replacing the harmful and failed state takeover policy

Higher Ed for All

•  Purpose: To expand access to Massachusetts public colleges and universities and to ensuring that learning and working conditions are equitably meeting the needs of all students and workers

• Purpose: To enable cities and towns to impose a modest transfer fee on real estate transactions to provide funding for affordable housing

• Purpose: To pass legislation to seal/allow for the sealing of eviction records (An Act Promoting Housing Opportunity and Mobility Through Eviction Sealing)

Safe Communities Coalition

• Purpose: To pass the Safe Communities Act, which would disentangle state and local law enforcement from ICE

Criminal Justice Reform Working Group

• Purpose: To convene organizations working on criminal justice reform and fighting to end mass incarceration

Massachusetts Coalition for Juvenile Justice Reform

• Purpose: To prevent the unnecessary legal system involvement of youth and create better outcomes for those involved

Massachusetts Coalition to Prevent Gun Violence

• Purpose: To bring together impacted communities, advocates, public health experts, and policy-makers to prevent gun violence in all its forms
