Grading the State House: A Report Card on (In)action: 7/30, 1 pm

Massachusetts legislators opened the legislative session by promising a more productive and transparent legislative session. However, as we approach the end of the formal session, few bills have been signed into law.

The Trump administration wages war on our state’s economy, people, and values. Our state grows more unequal and more unaffordable every month. Yet the Legislature fails to feel the urgency expressed everyday on the ground.

With the formal session drawing to a close, activists will join at the State House to present a report card of the session to date across a range of subject matters. Representatives from relevant groups will be given the opportunity to grade the Legislature’s work so far and whether they are meeting the moment
