No on 8 Community Briefing

The fate of the cannabis industry is on the ballot in Massachusetts on November 3rd. This ballot question is an existential threat not only in Massachusetts but nationwide. Why is this important? Since cannabis was legalized in Massachusetts in 2016, the industry has created tens of thousands of jobs, generates over $300 million in state revenue annually, invested in social equity programs, seen a decrease in criminal arrests, and provides important safety testing for products.

The No on 8 Ballot Campaign is a broad group of businesses, advocates, healthcare leaders, labor unions, municipal and state elected officials, and community groups and leaders. We hope you can join us on Thursday, October 8th from 1-2PM for a virtual community briefing focused on why community groups and organizations should vote No on 8 and how you can be involved in this campaign.
